I am working on a few projects behind the scenes and wanted to test out a few things on TLY, since it has a ton of data in its database. I spent a few hours tonight hooking up a pretty nifty and 100% custom live-search implementation. The idea is- type your search in the search box to the right and watch the results appear in the main window. It’s not that advanced, just your typical live-search. It’s powered by jQuery and a slightly modified yet typical index.php that you might find in any WP theme. Nothin’ fancy. I might add some more functionality to it later, but it’s complete so there’s one more addition to the ’salad!
I’m also thinking about adding this to the upcoming public v1 release, but I am on the fence so you guys out there will have to convince me otherwise.
