Since last spring, when my best friend Micha visited me in austria, i was/am fascinated about his skills in Photoshop. We played around with CS2 and he teached me how to transform and mirror pictures and shadows. No need to say that i nearly forgot everything he showed me, my excuse is the lack of time i had to exercise.
While surfing the Web i found Leah’s post on pownce to the “portfolio page” at http://www.iwanexstudio.com/. My first reaction was that this company’s abilities with Photoshop are amazing. My second reaction was horror at realizing that i really suck in PhotoShop, Micha showed me something similar and women (and men) actually believe that the people in these ads are real. And that they actually look the way they do in the ads (but with access to much better makeup artists). The answer is a resounding NO! — with the sole exception of Halle Berry.
If you wanna see yourself what i mean, go to the website. Click on the portfolio tab, down on the little pictures at the bottom and then run your cursor on and off the photo that pops up (that will give you the before and after).
Micha, i wished i had your skills, and the knowledge of pimpin pictures that way.
